How to Obtain a Cypriot Passport (EU Citizenship)
Basic Information
Obtaining Cypriot citizenship automatically means receiving a European Union passport, which allows free movement, the right to work, and residence in all 27 EU member states.
However, citizenship can no longer be obtained through investment. The Citizenship by Investment program was cancelled in November 2020.
At present, a Cypriot passport can be obtained only through naturalisation, after long-term legal residence in Cyprus.
